originally created as a platform for innovation in recording art and as a resource for djs, live acts, bloggers, podcasters, non-commercial radio and internet radio, diplomatik is an internationally based digital electronic music label/netlabel founded in late 2007. some of our releases are openly and indefinitely distributed under a creative commons in high quality (320kbps) .mp3 format, while others will be exclusively available through digital download services like beatport, juno and more.

our ultimate goal is to foster international collaboration while exploring experimental methads of music production and distribution.

diplomatik's music is predominately electronic and is sometimes filed under minimal, techno, electro, and/or idm.
